Parents have an important role in #play
Children are like soft clay who can be moulded in whichever form you may wish, but it requires a lot of effort, patience and guidance!
As parents we should:
.
🌤️Provide them with interesting materials and experiences to promote their explorations and learning.
Like introducing books at an early age, providing sensory based activities, arranging lots of play dates with other similar age kids and doing lots of outdoor activities!
.
🌤️Make playtime a priority for your family and child.
I wish I could "underline" the importance of this one! Scheduling play is good for both your child and yourself! Babies and toddlers like a schedule as much as we do! Knowing what a day will be like makes them feel more happy and they look forward to what they are going to do next!
If you cannot schedule the whole day of a child, scheduling an "outdoor" time, "book reading time" or doing one activity together must always be there in a day!
.
🌤️Play with your child to promote social skills and promote bonding!
The way we treat our children, they will learn and behave in a similar way with others as well, so always ACT and not REACT! Treat them like adults, give them abundant responsibilities and you will be amazed at how much they can do!
